Chapter 5 "Evaluating Sources"
When it comes to writing research papers, evaluating sources that you gather info from is very important. This chapter talks about what factors to consider when evaluating a source. Some of the factors to consider are, the author, the relevance, the evidence, the timeliness, the publisher...etc. Not only does this chapter explain what to consider while evaluating a source, but should different types of sources be evaluated differently? Thus meaning if its scholarly, should I evaluate it differently than Facebook, or wikipedia, the answer is yes. While Facebook could be a great resource for somethings, a research paper probably isn't one of them. Take time to carefully look at all of your sources and ask yourself the questions before using them.
